The
Collectables and the Record Music 'fairs'
have been operating for around 15 years.
While we have held some fairs at other
locations in the past, we have now been
at the Parramatta Town Hall for nearly
10 years.
Parramatta
is the centre of Sydney's population base,
and is one of the most accessible places
for cars and public transport.

Major
roads and freeways lead directly to Parramatta's
CBD, and rail and bus terminals are less
than 3 minutes walk from the Town Hall.
Located on the Church Street Mall in
the centre of the city, it is an historic
location (being the site of Sydney's
first market place and farms in 1789),
and is used for many public activities
and performances.
The
interior of the Hall is in the process
of being fully restored, and recent completion
of some sections has greatly enhanced
the floor space, lighting and accessibility.
With
room for around 100 stalls, the three
major areas of the hall include the;
Main Hall; Jubilee Hall; and Stage. Each
offer excellent traffic flow by patrons
and generally unobstructed access to
stall tables and displays.
Additional
areas within the Town Hall also offer
the opportunity for 'fairs' that reach
a high demand to be accommodated with
extra stalls, or to take care of large
numbers of patrons during special events.
As
the 'fairs' are held on Sundays, we
have full access to the public carpark
which is located directly behind the
Parramatta Town Hall.
The
Civic Place carpark is accessed off
Macquarie Street, and has the capacity
for around 400 vehicles.
Both
customers and stallholders use this
carpark throughout the day, offering
you ease of access to your vehicle.

Stallholders
can begin delivering and unloading their
goods from 6.30am on the day of the fair.
Access to a delivery carpark right next
to the side entrance to the Hall can
be made through Civic Place and either
staff or a Council representative will
direct you through the security barrier
(right).
The
delivery carpark must be cleared by 7.45am
before the main doors open to the public
and 8am. Stallholders must unload their
goods quickly and then remove their cars
to the Civic Place carpark to allow for
access by other stallholders. No vehicles
are permitted to use the delivery carpark
during the day.
The
'fairs' have been made successful by
the cooperation and commonsense of our
stallholders (along with a lot of work
by ourselves of course!), and to assist
you to have a great day, we have set
out some general conditions to help you.
